Agreement

drdhanrajchavan.com (the site) is operated by Dr Dhanraj D Chavan, a dermatologist practising in Pune, Maharashtra, India (the operator). Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

These terms also cover the Google-connected application registered with Google under the name Dhanraj Chavan, described in The Google-connected application below. How information is handled is set out separately in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

What this site is

It is a personal professional site: a record of the operator's clinical practice, academic talks and publications, awards, and an in-development clinical-AI initiative. It exists so that peers, collaborators, and interested readers can see the work.

It is not a clinic website, not a booking system, and not a patient portal. It does not sell anything and it does not process payments.

No medical advice

Nothing on this site is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation, and reading it does not create a doctor-patient relationship. The clinical pages describe how the operator approaches particular problems in practice; they are written for a professional reader and they are not a substitute for examination by a qualified clinician who knows your case.

Do not delay seeking medical care because of something you read here. For treatment or appointments, use clearskin.in or hairmdindia.com. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

No offer of investment

The Building page describes work in progress. It is written for context, not as an offer. Nothing on this site is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell securities, an investment recommendation, or a financial promotion, and nothing on it should be relied on when making an investment decision.

Accuracy

The content is kept accurate in good faith, and states of work are described honestly — work in development is called work in development. Even so, the site is published as-is. Talks, publications, awards, and clinical descriptions reflect the record as the operator holds it at the time of publication. If you find something wrong, write in through the contact form and it will be checked and corrected.

Content and rights

The text, photographs, layout, and design of this site belong to the operator or are used with permission. The ClearSkin and HairMD names and marks belong to ClearSkin Private Limited. Third-party names, journal titles, and conference names belong to their respective owners.

You may quote briefly from this site for review, comment, teaching, or citation, with attribution and a link. Anything more — reproducing pages, republishing photographs, mirroring the site, or using its content to train or evaluate a machine-learning model — needs written permission first. Ask through the contact form.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to break, probe, or overload the site or its hosting.
• Do not send automated or bulk submissions through the contact form.
• Do not impersonate the operator, the clinics, or anyone else.
• Do not use the site to send unlawful, abusive, or misleading material.
• Do not scrape at a rate that degrades the service for other readers.

Messages you send

A message sent through the contact form is read by the operator. Treat it as ordinary correspondence: it is not encrypted end-to-end, it carries no guarantee of confidentiality, and it creates no professional relationship of any kind.

Do not send health information, patient identifiers, or material covered by someone else's confidentiality obligation. Do not send anything you consider commercially confidential before agreeing terms for it. A reply is not promised and is not a commitment to act.

The Google-connected application

The operator runs a private command-line application, registered with Google under the name Dhanraj Chavan, which signs in with Google to work with the operator's own Google properties — analytics, search performance, cloud projects, and related accounts. It is internal tooling.

• It is not offered to the public, and there is no sign-up.
• Access is limited to the operator and staff authorised by the operator.
• Anyone who uses it must also comply with Google's Terms of Service and the Google API Services User Data Policy.
• Google account data reached through it is handled as set out under Google account data in the Privacy Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
• Authorisation can be withdrawn at any time, by the operator or by the account holder, at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

The application is provided with no warranty and no service commitment. The operator can change it, restrict it, or withdraw it at any time.

Other sites

This site links out to clinic sites, professional networks, video channels, journals, and conference pages. Those are run by other people. A link is not an endorsement, and the operator is not responsible for their content, their terms, or their privacy practices.

No warranty

The site and the application are provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. The site may be changed, moved, or taken down at any time without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising out of your use of this site or the application, including lost profits, lost data, or losses following a decision you made on the basis of something published here.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from use of the site.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised. Revisions are published on this page and the date at the top is updated. Continuing to use the site after a revision means you accept the revised terms.
